Here I show 7 methods by which you get labels for your collection.
Following methods are described in decreasing order of efficiency.

Method “Do ut des”
… or of trade of duplicates.
I’ve begun a short time ago to try it, but the results are arrived immediately. Internet is an excellent means of information and, before long, I’ve succeeded in finding several collectors all over the world, with which I’ve begun to trade labels. Thanks to “Do ut des” my collection is 213 % grown in 2 month! In pole position with the 56 %.
Method “Make yourself to send by mammy…”
It consists in asking to own mother- or to which provides for house necessities- to make oneself to buy fruit in the market, to choose the one with labels stuck on. Your mother- or who provides for house necessities- will answer you that you are crazy, obviously she doesn’t trust you. So, she- or who provides for house necessities- will come back every morning with an incredible variety of fruit… and labels! I’ve got about 25 % of my collection with this method.
Method “Let someone know about it”
It consists in talking to your friends and acquaintances about your collection, asking them to keep aside labels for you. They will snort, of course, and, perplexed and half-shocked, will ask you what is the sense of collecting fruit labels. You would answer them that it isn’t matter for common people and be sure that they fulfil own duties! Thanks to it I’ve got about 14 % of my collection.
Method “Houdini”
This name comes from the most famous wizard of all the times (after Merlin, obviously) and it consistes in approaching to fruit-stalls in natural and thoughless way, taking now and then an apple or a pineapple, checking now and then a banana or a melon and taking off, with innocent and sudden quickness, label from the fruit, sticking it then on dial. In this way my collection is grown an insufficient 4 %.
Method “Face to face”
To carry out this method you would take courage and face the fruit seller in a duel to the last fruit. It’s not easy convincing a seller to give you labels without buying anything, however you’ll find a kindly people, especially if you’ll ask labels to your reliable fruit seller. It’s more difficult convincing an unknown seller… as it happened me some years ago: the fruit seller has justified his refusal telling me that he could not sell “anonymous fruit…” In final position with 1 %.
Method “E-Bay!”
Have you never seen an auction sale? Some collectors have got labels (also rare) visiting the world famous site of E-bay. You can try…
Method “Ask to origin”
… and the origin is the grower. There are collectors who asked labels to growers, with positive results. As above, you can try…
Method “The Infiltrated”
A collector can work in fruit and vegetable shop or farm… where arrive every day hundred and hundred of crates of fruit … and labels! A good reason to change job…
