Fyffes, by this advertising campaign, adviced the birth of the Fyffes Blue Label. The fruit labels are born!

| Tray Labelling Device - type B (December 1930) |
This device is a copper tray, 8″ long by 5″ wide by half-an-inch deep, to label the fruit.
The labels are placed in piles in the upper tray in dry condition. They are gummed side downwards. Then, they are drawn by the fingers over the dampened felt pad.
