Weightypaper labels
This page shows another kind of label, rather unusual both its size and its structural features.

This label (front and reverse) belonged to a pineapple and its size is 89×129 mm. It’s made by weighty paper and it was applied to the leaves’ cluster of the fruit with the above plastic ring (the hole made by the ring is still visible on the left of Del Monte logo). Moreover, it was folded as a book, so the label got a pretty style. The choice of a label of this kind reflects a double point of view: on the one hand the requirement to find an easy and durable way to apply the label (a sticker can come unstuck easy on a fruit like pineapple), on the other the possibility to give to client a more complete promotional message (on the reverse of the label it is shown the way to serve the fruit).
